When your Mac is idle, locked, or asleep, Superego actively reduces resource usage.Even after running in the background for long periods, it has almost no impact on your current work.Actual usage still varies with how you use it and is not literally zero.

Roadmap
Optional storage, without changing the local default
Support for S3-compatible storage you configure yourself will remain optional and off by default.Before you enable it, Superego will clearly explain data protection and connection status without silently changing the local default.
